Dr. Alan Parker is professor of missions and evangelism, and director of Pierson Institute of Evangelism and Missions at Southern Adventist University.

He originally hails from Southern Africa where he was born and raised in a non-Christian home. Alan made a commitment to Christ as a teenager and by 16 was preaching his first evangelistic series. He went on to study theology, becoming a pastor and campus chaplain before transferring to the States.

Alan has spoken to audiences in Africa, Europe and across North America and enjoys sharing biblical insights and dealing with practical issues. As a board member of Generation of Youth for Christ (GYC), he is passionate about an army of young people who can change their world.

His wife, Nicole looks after their three enthusiastic children, and is completing her Masters in Biblical Counseling. Together, their greatest desire is helping people to know Jesus in a more profound and transforming way.
